Hao Lu is a contemporary painter whose work explores the relationship between nature, silence and personal space. His artistic language draws inspiration from traditional East Asian painting, where empty space and restrained gestures can carry as much meaning as the painted subject itself.
His compositions often feature simplified landscapes, distant mountains, mist, water and organic forms. Soft mineral tones, muted earth colors and carefully placed brushstrokes create a sense of openness and quietness.
